Austin police said they have finished their suspicious package follow up investigation at a FedEx facility west of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Wednesday morning and confirm that the scene is secure. It's a day after Austin police said they found a bomb at the facility they believe is connected to a series of suspicious packages and explosions in the Austin area in March.

Austin Police told KVUE the location is in the 4100 block of McKinney Falls Parkway. Austin police said the package contained fundraising materials for Austin High School.

Police said they temporarily evacuated employees at FedEx as a precautionary measure, but now, regularly scheduled business operations will resume.

Austin ISD said public safety personnel went to Austin High School out of an abundance of caution. The building was cleared, and students and staff were declared safe.

Police in Austin have received over 1,000 suspicious package calls over the course of March after two people were killed after picking up packages on their front doorstep. Mark Conditt, 23, was identified as the suspect in the string of cases that began on March 2. He died after detonating a device in his vehicle while police were tracking his trail in Round Rock.
