The Rock N' Roll half-marathon is Sunday morning in Dallas.

Here are a few things you should know about the annual event if you plan on being in the downtown, Deep Ellum or Oak Cliff areas:

Start and finish: The race starts at 8 a.m. at Young Street and South Lamar Street, in front of the Omni Hotel. From there, the route heads east, going into Deep Ellum and looping back to downtown and then through west Dallas and down to North Oak Cliff before finishing up near Reunion Tower.

Check out the route here.

Road closures: Getting in an out of the race grid will be a difficult task, especially downtown, where Elm Street will close down at 7:15 a.m. Young Street, where the race begins, will also be closed, of course. The route will go down Canton Street in Deep Ellum before turning north at Exposition Avenue and heading back into downtown on Elm.

Check out all of the closings here.

Where to park: Downtown parking garages and surface lots are recommended as there are no designated parking areas for participants or spectators.

During the race: You can track your favorite runner (or yourself) using the half-marathon's new app, which you can download for your iPhone or Android.

After the race: Texas singer-songwriter Hayes Carll will perform a concert on the Reunion Lawn near the finish line from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
