Trinity Williams loves football.

"My dad is a huge Cowboys fan, I can remember watching games since I was probably 6 years old," she says laughing.

Now a high sophomore and the big sister to two younger brothers, Trinity has spent most of her childhood immersed in the sport through the "NFL Fuel Up to Play 60" program.

The initiative emphasizes one hour of physical activity for children per day and utilizes healthy eating habits as a way to kick start the movement.

Williams joined the program in the 3rd grade and is part of a national youth council that has the opportunity to travel to a variety of events, teaching other kids, her peers, about the program.

"I’ve met a bunch of amazing people," Williams said. "I’m on a great team that I see every summer, it’s just really encouraging.”

The NFL has noticed too. The league informed the Frisco Heritage High student that she has been selected to participate as a student reporter from the NFL Draft in Arlington when it starts on Thursday.

“I’ll be interviewing first round pics on the red carpet," Williams said. "Then on Saturday, I’m presenting a round 7 pick on the big stage so...it’s pretty wow.”
