Antetokounmpo - tough to say, tougher to guard

"This was my first NBA practice, and I loved it. I'm not gonna lie, I loved it."

You may struggle to say his name... but Kostas Antetokounmpo is a Dallas Maverick. The younger brother of the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, comes with expectations.

"Our game is kinda alike," Kostas said. "Same physical tools. Long, lanky, athleticism."

When you've got 13 letters in your last name, pronunciation will always be a bit tricky. And while he's borthers fame and success has helped a bit with the last name, Kostas has still heard his fair share of variety.

"Last name, I've heard Antetokonupio. I've heard blub-blub-blub. Somebody actually said blub-blub-blub."

So what does he do when he's got to order food or something?

"Oh, I give fake names. Like my Uber name is Gus," Kostas said to a round of laughs. "I'm serious. Even at the airport, or when I order food I just say Trey. I don't know why, i just say Trey."

The real pronunciation is tricky. But his new teammates are learning quickly.

"Antetokounmpo," Mavs point guard Dennis Smith Jr. said flawlessly. 'Yeah, I got a way with words," he said with a laugh. "That's what the ladies tell me."

Given that Antetokounmpo means 'royalty from across the seas', that actually might work for you, Dennis.
