Plano police recover body of missing woman; foul play not suspected

A Plano woman disappeared Wednesday after crashing her vehicle. Her body was later found, but police aren't suspected foul play.

PLANO, Texas — A Plano family got the worst news possible Thursday after a young mother struggling with depression disappeared and was later found dead.

Elizabeth "Libby" Davis' husband, Kevin, posted on Twitter that the 28-year-old mother was missing after she crashed her vehicle Wednesday afternoon on the side of the President George Bush Turnpike. It appeared she took off on foot.

Davis' tweet said Libby had been struggling with depression and anxiety.

According to Libby's father, Andy Bruner, her friends organized a search party near the scene of the crash Thursday afternoon.

Police later found her body near the PGBT and Ohio Drive. Foul play isn't expected and her cause of death is under investigation.
