First day of the weekend will start out pleasant before big changes arrive by Sunday.
Saturday will feature mostly sunny skies, a breezy southerly wind, a dry forecast, and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
By Saturday night, a strong cold front will move through North Texas. This will bring falling temps and a chance for some light showers or drizzle.
Sunday will be much colder. High on Sunday will only be in the upper 30s to 40s with a breezy northerly wind. Some lingering light showers or drizzle are possible Sunday morning before coming to an end heading through the day on Sunday.
So even though it will be warmer for now, don't put away the jackets and coats you've needed recently!
