ARLINGTON, Texas — UPDATE, 9:30 p.m.: All lanes are back open.
All eastbound lanes of I-30 at Fielder Road in Arlington are closed while Texas Department of Transportation responders assess the structural integrity of the highway after an "oversized load" on a 18-wheeler crane struck the overpass at the Fielder Road Bridge, Arlington police said.
Northbound lanes over the bridge are also closed.
Police have asked motorists to seek alternate routes on Highway 183, Division, and I-20.
TxDOT officials do not know when the lanes will reopen.
