U.S. Marshals searching for Arlington man who shot his neighbor

U.S. Marshals are searching for Leiser Solis Rodriguez in the shooting of his neighbor.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Updated at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday with suspect information. 

The U.S. Marshals and Arlington police are asking for help finding a 39-year-old man who is accused of shooting his neighbor in the head and torso. 

Leiser Solis Rodriguez faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

Rodriguez is accused of shooting his 34-year-old neighbor multiple times late Sunday after the two were arguing in the 1900 block of Sidney Street near East Mitchell Street. 

The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was transported to the hospital but was alert and talking on scene after the shooting, Arlington police said. 

Rodriguez fled after the shooting, according to the U.S. Marshals. He was last seen by Hillsboro police driving in a minivan on southbound Interstate 35. 

He fled police in the minivan "before escaping on foot," the U.S. Marshals said. 

Rodriguez is described as 5-foot-9, weighing about 145 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
