DALLAS — Updated at 8:30 a.m. Monday with new power outage information.
The National Weather Service is working Monday to determine whether any tornadoes touched down Sunday in the Dallas-area.
About 11,000 are without power Monday after severe storms and high winds blew through the area on Father's Day.
Most of the power outages are reported in Tarrant County, where electricity is expected to be restored by 10 p.m. Monday, according to Oncor.
And for the second Monday, residents are cleaning up after destructive storms.
Roofs were blown of apartments in Farmers Branch, trees were uprooted in Arlington and a crane toppled over in Irving.
On Sunday afternoon, there was a brief tornado warning for most of north Dallas County.
Monday's weather is expected to be calm but humid.
Like last week's storms, gusting winds and heavy rain left a lot of damage in their wake.
As of 7:30 p.m. Sunday, the following damage has been reported for the following areas:
Irving
- No injuries reported
- Light signals are out at 4 locations
- There are 10 locations with trees down. Clean-up is in progress
- Irving Police received 150 calls for service this afternoon
- The Mustang Rec Center had its roof blown off, and there is flooding there as well. Summer day camp at Mustang will be temporarily relocated to Cimarron Recreation Center.
- Some bricks fell off the building of the Dallas Communications center on E. Northgate
- Eastbound Northgate at Valley View, La Valita and 635 and 183 and Valley View are all closed, but are expected to be clear tonight
Arlington
- The heaviest damage was near Lake Arlington and in the area near Collins street and Road to Six Flags, according to the City of Arlington
- Two reports of minor injuries
- The 4200 block of Bowman Springs Road near Lake Arlington and northbound and southbound Matlock Road between Mayfield Road and Arbrook Boulevard are closed because of downed power lines. The Matlock Road closure may last overnight.
The American Red Cross is partnering with local police and fire departments to provide assistance.

Storm debris
The Dallas Code Compliance department will not issue citations for any brush and storm debris put out for pickup, the city of Dallas said in a statement earlier this week. That same statement applies today. Bulk and brush pickup will continue for June, but the City is asking residents to limit bulk trash set-outs for the rest of the month if possible. Bulk collection for July will be limited to storm debris only. Regular bulk pickup will resume in August, the City said in a statement.
The City of Fort Worth said that Solid waste will be out picking up storm debris starting tomorrow. If you live in Fort Worth and need any trees cleared, call 817-392-1234.
If you see a downed power line, do not approach it. Call 911 and report it and walk away.
Power outages
Oncor reported outages affecting almost 50,000 customers Sunday.
Not all outages may be due to solely Sunday's storms. Some outages remained from last week's storms.
Outages as of 5:40 a.m. Monday:
Collin: 5; latest estimated time of full restored power is currently unknown
Dallas: 4,547; latest estimated time of full restored power is currently unknown
Denton: 27; latest estimated time of full restored power is 9 a.m. Monday
Tarrant: 11,194; latest estimated time of full restored power is 4:30 p.m. Monday

Flight delays/cancellations
Dallas-Fort Worth International:
All arrivals are now being held at their place of origin until 10 p.m. CDT, and many have been delayed for an average of 3 hours and 44 minutes. Airborne aircraft are experiencing delays of an hour and 13 minutes,
Flights headed to Denver, Colo. are delayed about 55 minutes; flights to Newark, N.J. are delayed about an hour and 23 minutes; flights to Chicago's O'Hare airport are delayed for about 27 minutes.
All other outgoing flights are experiencing delays of an average of 46 minutes to an hour, and increasing.
Dallas Love Field:
All departing flights are experiencing a minimum delay of an average of 16-30 minutes.
Flights headed to Denver, Colo. are delayed about 55 minutes; flights to Newark, N.J. are delayed about an hour and 23 minutes; flights to Chicago's O'Hare airport are delayed for about 27 minutes.
Flights headed to DFW International are currently experiencing delays of about 3 hours and 55 minutes.
Arrivals are being delayed about 42 minutes, on average.
