Dallas police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday night.
Investigators said they responded to calls of a shooting around 10:28 p.m. near the 3000 block of South Westmoreland Road.
A woman told police she was traveling southbound in the area when a newer model 4-door silver Nissan pulled to the right of her vehicle.
That's when she said the person fired shots into her vehicle and sped off onto an unknown street.
When police located the victim, they said she was bleeding from her leg due to a gunshot wound.
She was transported to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.
Police have not arrested any suspects.
