DALLAS — Dallas police are looking for the driver who ran into four people while they were dealing with a car accident of their own, officials said.
The crash happened early Monday on West Mockingbird Lane and Brookriver Drive, according to police.
A sergeant at the scene told WFAA that it started with a minor crash involving two vehicles. The people involved in that accident were standing outside of their vehicles when someone hit them while driving a Kia Soul.
Police believe the driver was trying to avoid the initial accident when they hit the victims. That driver then jumped out of the car and took off from the scene.
The victims were taken to a hospital and were expected to recover. Police said the runaway suspect will be facing charges once they're caught.
