ATHENS, Texas — The saying "Everything is Bigger in Texas" is oftentimes overused, especially by those who aren't from the Lone Star State. But a North Texas judge is certainly showing how big his support is for his high school football team.

Judge R. Scott McKee of the 392nd District Court of Henderson County in Athens, Texas, posted to Facebook Wednesday morning saying that all afternoon cases on Thursday would be rescheduled because of the Class 3A Div. I state title matchup between Henderson County’s Malakoff Tigers and the Franklin Lion.

Malakoff hasn't lost a game this season, going 15-0 with an average margin of victory of 42.1 points. This also includes five shutouts.

The Tigers offense is led by junior quarterback Mike Jones, who currently has 2,480 passing yards, 716 rushing yards and 45 total touchdowns. Jones is supported by his sophomore running back Jerrion Hall, who has 1,460 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
