LAKE WORTH, Texas — One of two arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Lake Worth Walgreens back in October has been indicted by a grand jury on complaints of robbery and possession of firearms by a felon.

Henry Pierre Rogers, 35, of Fort Worth, was indicted Wednesday, court records show.

Rogers was among two people taken into custody after the Oct. 15 robbery, in which two armed suspects stole $5,000 in cash from the store’s safe at gunpoint shortly after 3:30 a.m. at the pharmacy in the 6200 block of Lake Worth Boulevard, according to a press release from Fort Worth Police at the time.

Police said at that time that one suspect forced a pharmacist to remove controlled substances from a secure storage area at gunpoint, then grabbed the pharmacist by the hair and forced her to the back office at gunpoint. At the same time, police say a second suspect stunned the front desk clerk, dragged her to the back office, and forced her to open the safe at gunpoint.

Rogers had five guns, according to the indictment, and the indictment includes a forfeiture notice for the firearms.
