WEATHERFORD, Texas — A driver was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of another driver after a crash Friday, Weatherford police said.
The department said they responded to a crash on Interstate 20 at Main Street around 7:30 p.m. Friday and found a 44-year-old Parker County man had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe a collision led to an altercation between Nicholas Kent, 43, and the other driver, which then resulted in the shooting, according to police.
Kent was arrested on a murder complaint, police said. The other driver was not identified.
