Areas of fog will linger across North Texas early on Thursday. Visibility will much better than the past couple of mornings, so the Dense Fog Advisory has been cancelled.

Thursday: dry, maybe some sunshine

Rain chances will be very low on Thursday, but the day could start with some fog and drizzle.

It's even possible to see a little sun before the day is done! Don't count on just a crystal clear blue sky day, but some peeks of sunshine are possible during the afternoon.

Friday: another round of rain

Another round of rain on Friday mainly during the evening into the nighttime hours. Otherwise the day will be cloudy, mild, and muggy. There could be some spotty showers across western North Texas during the day, but most places will be dry.

A cold front moves into North Texas bringing with it a chance for showers and storms mainly Friday evening into Friday night. As of now, the severe threat looks low, but some t-storms are possible. Rain quickly moves east Friday night with almost all of North Texas dry by Saturday morning. There could be some lingering showers along the Red River, but most will start the day dry.

Behind the front, the weekend will be cooler, but the cool-down is no Arctic blast or even anything remotely close.
