Frontier Airlines expanding service from DFW Airport

The airline says it will add 13 new domestic destinations and one new international one of out DFW International Airport this spring.

DALLAS — Frontier Airlines will add 13 new domestic destinations and one new international one of out DFW International Airport this spring.

The new routes take Frontier’s total number of destinations from DFW to 36, an increase of about 40%, according to the airline.

Frontier is also offering fares starting at $19 one way and upgrades to its premium extra-legroom stretch seating starting at $19 per passenger per flight segment.

“This announcement represents a tremendous expansion of service in one of our fastest growing markets and is part of a new operational focus on underserved and overpriced routes,” said Barry Biffle, CEO, Frontier Airlines in a statement. “The opening of our DFW crew base last spring is helping to support our growth and bring more affordable and convenient travel options to those in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.”

The expansion of service coincides with flight attendant jobs open house. There will be three sessions Wednesday, starting at 9 a.m. at Hyatt Place DFW (2350 Global Drive, DFW Airport, TX 75261.
