These are the most expensive private high schools in DFW

Greenhill School ranks as the most expensive private high school in North Texas, according to Niche, an authoritative guide on schools and neighborhoods nationwide.

Dallas Business Journal has debuted its first private high schools list this year. Using information from Niche and DBJ research, it showcases 50 schools, many known for high-level academics and extracurriculars — as well as hefty price tags.

The Niche info is based on yearly tuition costs for the highest grade offered at each school. At Greenhill School, which Niche also ranked as one the most best schools in North Texas, tuition is $38,050. Based in Addison since 1950, it serves 1,373 students from pre-K through 12th grade.

The Episcopal School of Dallas ranked No. 2, St. Mark’s School of Texas ranked No. 3, Shelton School came in at No. 4 and the Hockaday School rounded out the top five. Check out the full ranking below and see more details about the schools, including financial aid details, SAT scores and more.

6. The Winston School (Dallas): $30,652

7. Parish Episcopal School (Dallas): $29,435

8. Akiba Yavneh Academy (Dallas): $29,420

9. Alcuin School (Dallas): $29,400

10. Lakehill Preparatory School (Dallas): $28,650
