Missing 12-year-old reunited with family after AMBER Alert

She was believed to be in "grave or immediate danger," according to the alert issued early Wednesday.

HALTOM CITY, Texas — A 12-year-old girl who went missing this week, prompting an AMBER Alert early Wednesday morning, has been located and reunited with her family, officials say.

Now that the girl has been found, WFAA is removing her name from the story, as she is a juvenile.

More information about how the girl was located was not released.

The girl was believed to be in "grave or immediate danger," according to the alert issued early Wednesday.

She was last seen Monday leaving North Oaks Middle School at around 11:15 a.m. on foot, police said. She disappeared after crossing the railroad tracks next to the school's library, according to a police news release. The school is located off Glenview Drive and Old Denton Road.

No suspects have been named by authorities.
