How to watch the Super Bowl without cable

The Super Bowl is almost here and there are several ways to stream the big game live.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs meet the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII. It's a rematch for the two teams, who faced off at the Super Bowl just four years ago. 

The Super Bowl is back on CBS this year, but don't fret if you cut the cable cord. It's easier than ever for streamers to watch the big game live. 

Here's everything you need to know to watch Super Bowl LVIII without cable.

What channel is the Super Bowl on?

Super Bowl LVIII (Super Bowl 58) will air live Sunday on CBS, and stream on CBS's sister streaming app, Paramount+. If you have an over-the-air antenna, your TV should get CBS. 

Nickelodeon will air a family-friendly broadcast of the game, incorporating fan-favorite characters into the show.

Where to stream the Super Bowl?

In addition to Paramount+, there are several streaming services that carry CBS and Nickelodeon, including YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV and fuboTV. 

Paramount+ offers a 7-day free trial, so if you sign up for that you can stream the Super Bowl for free. 

When is the Super Bowl? What time does the Super Bowl kick off? 

Super Bowl LVIII (which stands for Super Bowl 58) kicks off Sunday, Feb. 11 at Allegiant Field in Las Vegas, Nevada, around 6:30 p.m. Eastern (5:30 p.m. Central Time, 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time and 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time).

Who is performing at the Super Bowl? 

R&B icon Usher will headline the Apple Music Halftime Show this year. Usher will be performing in celebration of the 30th anniversary of his debut, self-titled album in 1994. "Usher" put the singer on the charts with hits like "You Make Me Wanna..." and "Pop Ya Collar." Days before his Super Bowl performance, Usher announced that he's going on tour later this year.

Before the Chiefs and 49ers take the field, Queen of Country Reba McEntire will sing the national anthem. Grammy-nominated singer and rapper Post Malone will perform America the Beautiful. Award-winning singer and actress Andra Day will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing" during the Super Bowl pre-game.
