Police investigating after 2 found dead with gunshot wounds in Wylie

Police responded to the shooting call in the 3500 block of Hibiscus Drive shortly after noon Saturday.

WYLIE, Texas — Wylie police are investigating after they say two people were found dead with gunshot wounds Saturday.

Police responded to a shooting call in the 3500 block of Hibiscus Drive shortly after noon after a caller said she saw a male and female dead at the location.

When police arrived, they said they found the two people with with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Officials have since identified them as 29-year-old Dakota Davis and 24-year-old Raylee Grimes.

Wylie police said there is no ongoing threat to the community and they are not looking for a suspect in this case.

The investigation is active as of Sunday afternoon.
