FRISCO, Texas — Well, here's something you don't see every day.

Katt Williams running the 40-yard dash in front of a football-centric crowd at Sports Academy at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

And get this: the world-famous comedian and actor ran it in a hand-timed 4.97 seconds – at 52 years old.

By comparison, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott ran the 40 in 4.79 seconds as a 22-year-old in 2016.

Williams is on tour and was in north Texas ahead of his show Friday night in Grand Prairie.

Dallas-based football skills trainer Mo Wells, who trains a bunch of high-caliber NFL players, coordinated the effort to get Williams up to the facility. A special guest to spice up the mood, while NFL players and prospects continue their offseason training sessions.

Among those who lined the runway to film Williams' sprint: Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn – who, like Katt, is five-foot five-inches tall.

Video of Katt's dash comes courtesy of fellow football trainer Josh "3Hunnid" Hicks, who WFAA featured in 2021.
