1 killed in Fort Worth hit-and-run, police say

Fort Worth police said the auto-pedestrian crash happened just before 7 a.m. Saturday.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A man died Saturday morning in what Fort Worth police believe to be a hit-and-run crash, according to the department.

The Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) said officers responded at approximately 6:49 a.m. Saturday to the 4900 block of Parkview Hills Lane for a hit-and-run fatality. 

Police said investigators found an adult man lying in the middle of the intersection of Parkview Hills Lane and Brookstone Lane in northwest Fort Worth. Officers believe that this was the result of a hit-and-run incident, police said.

No suspects have been identified, and the FWPD Homicide and Traffic Units are investigating, the department said.
