FORT WORTH, Texas — A U.S. Postal Service letter carrier was robbed in Fort Worth March 15, police say.
Investigators are offering a reward of up to $150,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest or conviction in the case.
This latest robbery happened shortly before 5 p.m. March 15 near the Slate at Fort Worth Apartments in the 4700 block of Wellesley Avenue, officials say.
The suspect in this case is described as a man about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with short black hair who was wearing a black hoodie with an off-white logo on the front, black shorts with green stripes, black socks and flip flops, according to investigators.
Officials didn’t provide additional information about the incident.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455 and reference case number 4272276-ROBB.
U.S. Postal Inspector Sean Smith with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service-Fort Worth previously told WFAA his team was investigating multiple cases in the DFW area and had released eight reward posters so far in 2024 as of Feb. 26.
