3 injured in crash, including 2 Dallas Fire-Rescue employees, police say

DALLAS — Three people were injured, including two Dallas Fire-Rescue employees, in an early Monday morning crash in East Dallas, police said.

Police were dispatched to the crash around 12:35 a.m. near Hunnicut and John West roads, where Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were already at the scene of a one-vehicle crash.

Police said a black Honda Accord, which wasn't involved in the initial crash, then hit the back of a minivan at the scene.

A man got pinned between the two vehicles, and two Dallas Fire-Rescue employees were also injured. 

Police did not say if the injured employees were firefighters.

All three victims were taken to a local hospital, police said. The man who got pinned between the vehicles suffered serious injuries, police said. The two Dallas Fire-Rescue employees had minor injuries, according to police.

Two suspects in the crash ran from the scene and had not been arrested, police said. 

Police did not have any description of the suspects.
