DALLAS — Looking to make plans for a summer vacation? Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways is making its debut in Dallas-Fort Worth with a new route to Provo, Utah.

Breeze will offer twice-weekly roundtrip service between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and the Provo Municipal Airport, about a 45-minute drive from Salt Lake City, on Mondays and Fridays starting June 7. Promotional rates for the new flights begin at $69 one way.

DFW is one of five new cities the airline is adding. Breeze is also adding Bangor, Maine; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Lansing, Michigan; and Pensacola, Florida. The new routes increase the carrier’s offerings to 56 cities across 29 states.

“We’re thrilled to announce five more cities to our expanding network as we continue to add great destinations and also connect the dots between Breeze’s existing cities,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “With Breeze’s added convenience and affordability, our business model continues to see success in cities across the country."

Breeze began service in May of 2021 and was created by JetBlue founder David Neeleman. It offers a mix of more than 170 year-round and seasonal routes between 56 cities, "with a focus on providing efficient and affordable flights between secondary airports," according to the carrier.

The carrier operates a fleet of Embraer 190/195 and Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
