ARLINGTON, Texas — Fresh off their first World Series title in franchise history, the Texas Rangers open their season against the Chicago Cubs.

The Rangers and Cubs will play a three-game series to open the 2024 MLB season, with the second and third games coming on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. The home opener is set to begin at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday, March 28.

Fans were able to purchase items from their "Gold Collection" on March 21 at the Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field.

The team will unveil the 2023 World Series Champions banner on March 28 as part of the opening day ceremonies.

Then on Saturday, the Rangers will receive their World Series rings in an on-field ceremony before the first pitch.
