Teen arrested in connection with fatal shooting outside Luxor Hookah Lounge in Lewisville, police say

Officers responded to Luxor Hookah Lounge in the 1600 block of State Highway 121 at 11:44 p.m. March 29.

LEWISVILLE, Texas — A 16-year-old was arrested Tuesday in connection with a shooting that killed a 19-year-old and injured a second person outside Luxor Hookah Lounge in Lewisville, police say. 

The teen was arrested Tuesday at Xquisite Smoke Shop in the 1300 block of W. Main Street and charged with one count of murder, police say. Police didn't identify the alleged shooter, citing his age.

Officers responded to the business in the 1600 block of State Highway 121 at 11:44 p.m. on March 29. Police say witnesses told them multiple people were fighting outside the front of the club, and the fighting spilled into the parking lot.

Jayden Tramaine Anderson, 19, was taken to Medical City Lewisville and was pronounced dead, and a second person suffered “non-life-threatening injuries, police say.

The teen suspect is being held at the Denton County Juvenile Detention Center.
