ALLEN, Texas — A major crash sent three people to the hospital and shut down southbound U.S. 75 through Allen early Friday morning.
The southbound lanes were shut down at McDermott Drive around 4:45 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation. By 10 a.m., the highway was open again.
Pictures from the scene showed at least two vehicles involved in the crash, both of which were badly damaged and one of which was overturned.
Officials have not yet released more information on how the crash happened.
